IRE Hires Matt Junkin as Brokerage Associate

Locally owned and operated Investment Real Estate, LLC (IRE) announces the hiring of Matt Junkin as Brokerage Associate

Matt is an integral role on the Brokerage team. From handling general administration documents and legal activities, to compiling financial and market analysis projects, Matt supports the brokerage team with their needs. Matt works with appraisers, brokerage members, and other brokerage firms to produce sales comparables vital for IRE clients. At times the work can be hectic and other times very mellow; Matt’s adaptability makes him an asset to the IRE team.

When asked about Matt joining the company, Kevin Bledsoe, Director of Brokerage, states, “Matt has been a wonderful edition to the IRE brokerage team since joining in July. It helps tremendously that he owns an office building investment in Harrisburg, PA which gives him the ability to understand how an owner thinks about their investment. Matt has had to think strategically about leases, maximizing space, negotiating lease terms, budgeting and handling capital improvements. As a new broker in the self storage industry, it can be hard to understand how buyers and sellers think about their investment and the returns they need to reach their financial investing goals. For Matt the transition from investor to Brokerage Associate has been very easy and he’s doing a tremendous job working with buyers and sellers to understand their goals and how we can serve their needs in the best manner possible. We’re looking forward to seeing how Matt continues to progress because we feel like he has a tremendous career ahead of him in the self storage industry.”

ABOUT MATT JUNKIN

Matt is a graduate of Millersville University which is located in Lancaster, PA. He was a Business Management and Marketing major and also the President of his fraternity Sigma Tau Gamma

Matt was raised in Hershey, PA and now resides in Lancaster, PA with his wife, Kelly, and their two dogs, Carson and Keno. Outside of work, he enjoys time with friends and family, following the Philadelphia Eagles, golfing, stock trading and expanding his overall knowledge of the real estate markets.
