Jeff is responsible for leading all construction projects for IREGC, including the properties managed by Investment Real Estate Management (IREM) currently operating in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and New York. He manages every project from start to finish, which includes expansion projects and capital improvements at existing stores, renovations and expansions at newly acquired properties and new construction for future development properties, as well as capital improvements at the home office and historic mill.
He brings more than 20 years of experience in construction and operations, and most recently owned a commercial general contractor construction firm in San Antonio, TX. In previous roles, he spent time as a Project Manager for Wurzel Builders, a large commercial construction firm in Austin, TX. He also served 18 years of active duty service in the military with multiple tours to Iraq, Germany, South Korea, Kosovo and Bosnia.
Jeff graduated from the University of Management & Technology with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing Management and is set to graduate with his Master of Science degree from the University of Texas at El Paso in Construction Management in 2018. He also holds an Expert Certification in the Microsoft Office 2007 platform. He is certified in OSHA-30, CPR, First Aid, Lean Six Sigma and Drug & Alcohol Prevention.
He was born and raised just outside of Harrisburg, PA and graduated from Cedar Cliff High School. Jeff currently resides in the Mechanicsburg area with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he spends the majority of his time with his family enjoying the great things that Pennsylvania outdoors has to offer. He is an avid tournament fisherman and hunter. He also enjoys playing golf, softball and bowling, and spends time following high school and college wrestling and football. You will usually find him cheering on the Cedar Cliff Colts or Penn State Nittany Lions.
Jeff also devotes time to giving back and helping others, especially veterans with a plethora of needs and issues. He has spent thousands of volunteer hours with Trinity Oaks meat processing department for people in need and disaster relief, Habitat for Humanity, Heroes Sports, Veterans’ of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was a member of the Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita disaster recovery teams.
In his first six months with the company, he completed over 40 projects for IREM as well as numerous restoration projects at the IREGC home office and historic mill.
