Wes joined the Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC) in August 2021 as the Acquisitions Manager. He is responsible for sourcing, negotiating and prospecting new acquisitions on behalf of IREGC. Wes is no stranger to the Pennsylvania area having grown up ten miles outside of the Harrisburg area. He served in the United States Navy for five years where he traveled the world on various deployments and received multiple awards for his service.
Upon completing his military duty, Wes continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science, graduating Summa Cum Laude in both programs. During his time as an undergraduate Wes majored in geography concentrating on land use planning and GIS. He also interned with a local municipality in the planning department where he reviewed rezoning requests and observed negotiations between landowners/developers and the planning staff. As a graduate student, Wes was accepted into a competitive program where he majored in real estate finance and development and became proficient in site feasibility and financial analyses. Wes is described as a perceptive leader who is adaptable in dynamic environments, capable of building trust and creating innovative solutions.
Prior to joining IREGC, Wes served as a Land Acquisition Project Manager for a national homebuilder in Charlotte, NC, evaluating site feasibility and producing offers to local landowners. Wes made the transition to commercial real estate and draws on his experience and talents in the real estate realm as part of the IREGC team. He enjoys getting to work alongside such esteemed colleagues at IREGC and enjoys serving each customer/client. Wes currently resides in Cumberland County, PA with his wife, Amanda. In his spare time, he enjoys attending dirt track races, going on weekend getaways, and gets overly excited during football season.
