Kenneth Lower joined Investment Real Estate Group of Companies in May 2025, bringing over 20 years of financial leadership experience in private equity and real estate investment. As chief financial officer at IREGC, he oversees all financial operations for the company’s diversified self storage portfolio, driving strategic initiatives in financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, and investor relations. His expertise in scaling financial infrastructures and optimizing operational efficiency aligns with IREGC’s rapid growth and commitment to innovation.
Mr. Lower is a results-oriented leader with a proven ability to manage high-performing teams and navigate complex financial landscapes. Prior to joining IREGC, he served as head of private equity and real estate administration at UMB Financial. There, Mr. Lower led a team of 85 professionals and expanded assets under administration to $95 billion across 275+ alternative investment funds. He began his career working with financial services firms as a senior audit and assurance associate at KPMG LLP.
A Certified Public Accountant and MBA graduate from Utah State University, Mr. Lower combines technical acumen with strategic vision, fostering collaborative decision-making. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys traveling, cycling and spending time with his wife, Melissa, and their four children in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.
