Michael Baillargeon

Michael Baillargeon joined Investment Real Estate Group of Companies in June 2025, bringing with him over 30 years of leadership experience. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing a multi-location, geographically diverse self storage portfolio. This includes ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed, property performance meets expectations, and timely and accurate performance reporting is delivered.

Mr. Baillargeon is well-versed in leadership and has proven his ability to bring success and value to the company. Prior to joining IREGC, he served as chief operating officer for Hearthfire Holdings LLC, where he spearheaded the rapid expansion of private equity syndicators and was responsible for overseeing all strategic, financial and operational functions. Additionally, he served as senior vice president of operations for Store Space Self Storage, where he propelled the company to the No. 1 growth spot in the U.S. and created company CARE culture.

Mr. Baillargeon received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the College of the Holy Cross and is pursuing his master’s degree in business administration from Sam Houston State University.
