Chris Riley

As the Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC) prepared to retire its longstanding and successful brokerage business to focus solely on acquisitions to expand its Moove In Self Storage portfolio, the company needed a
president and chief operating officer to help lead the ambitious transition. In October 2022, they found that leader in Christopher R. Riley.

Mr. Riley has been an uber successful leader with more than a quarter century of commercial and residential real estate experience in both the public and private sectors. He has served in various senior operational and financial roles,
acquiring extensive experience in land acquisition, development, construction and property management throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

As president and COO, Mr. Riley will continue to drive the growth and profitability of IREGC, working closely with the CEO and board of advisors to pursue the company’s goals and ensure compliance with its stated mission. He also will continue to create relationships with communities where IREGC works and with industry leaders to nurture future business investments. He initially joined IREGC as its chief operating and accounting officer in 2018.

Mr. Riley holds a master’s in business administration and bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Baltimore. When he isn’t working, he enjoys reading, golf, and spending time with loved ones, family and friends.
