As controller, she oversees all accounting operations for IREGC’s rapidly growing self storage portfolio, leading process optimization, mentoring a six-person team and ensuring accurate financial reporting to support the company’s goal of reaching 100 stores by year-end. Her expertise in GAAP compliance, automation and real estate finance is well-aligned with IREGC’s commitment to scalable growth and operational excellence.
Ms. Helms is a collaborative leader, renowned for transforming financial infrastructures. Serving prior roles at both State Street and PNC banks, she is well-equipped to streamline accounting procedures and processing times. During her time with PNC, Ms. Helms earned the PNC PEAK Award for innovation, exemplifying her ability to make a difference in her company.
A University of Baltimore accounting graduate and Maryland CPA, Ms. Helms merges technical rigor with her passion for mentorship. Raised in Pasadena, Maryland, she now resides in Lewisberry, Pennsylvania. An avid traveler and outdoor enthusiast, she balances her love of hiking and biking with curling up with a good book.
