Moove In Self Storage Facility Underway in Norwich, CT

NORWICH, Conn. — July 18, 2024 — Moove In Self Storage is excited to announce that construction of a new state-of-the-art self storage facility at 210 Salem Turnpike in Norwich is in its final months, with a target opening date in October. The Norwich facility is set to be their seventh location in Connecticut.

This development marks another significant milestone in the company’s commitment to expanding its footprint and providing top-notch storage solutions in the New England market.

Construction of the new facility began in August 2023, with Mariottini Construction as the contractor and SAAarchitects overseeing the architectural design. The main structure of the facility is now complete, and office framing is underway. Additionally, unit walls and doors are being installed, along with mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough-ins. Sitework, including utilities, has been ongoing, and paving is expected in the coming week.

The new facility will feature 85,772 total square feet of interior climate-controlled storage space, encompassing 646 storage units. Moove In anticipates receiving the Certificate of Occupancy in October 2024, at which point the facility will be ready to serve the Norwich community.
