Tim Bolla brings over 15 years of deep expertise in commercial real estate to his role as chief investment officer at the Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC). With a strong background in both the operational and strategic aspects of commercial real estate, Mr. Bolla is known for his analytical approach to real estate investment and his commitment to achieving outstanding results.

As IREGC’s chief investment officer, Mr. Bolla plays a key role in driving the company’s growth by sourcing, evaluating and executing its acquisition strategies. He also is responsible for building new and nurturing existing relationships with investors, financial institutions and other key IREGC stakeholders to ensure growth within the portfolio.

Before joining IREGC, Mr. Bolla made significant contributions as managing director at BGO and co-portfolio manager of BGO’s $10 billion commingled U.S. real estate fund. His responsibilities covered all facets of fund management, including strategy development, financing, property operations and acquisitions. Mr. Bolla’s leadership not only guided the fund through numerous successful transactions but also played a crucial role in fundraising and maintaining robust client relations.

Prior to his tenure at BGO, Mr. Bolla was a senior financial analyst at YarrowBay Holdings, where he excelled in creating financial models for real estate investment projects, providing critical data and analysis to senior managers, investors and partners. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bolla enhanced his technical skills as a financial analyst and software developer at Avanade, contributing to financial reporting and software development projects that supported the company’s consulting services.

Mr. Bolla graduated cum laude from the University of Washington with a degree in business information systems and is a CFA charter holder. He grew up in Seattle but now resides with his wife and three children in Maryland. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, supporting University of Washington athletics and learning new technologies.
